A graduate of UTSA with a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. Ms Hernandez has experiences in Elementary, Middle and High School. She enjoys working with children of all ages and their parents. She knows she will have a great experience working with the "Mighty Braves"

Mr. Kappmeyer has been with the Harlandale School District for practically his whole life. He attended Carroll Bell Elementary, Terrell Wells Middle, and graduated from McCollum High School in 1986. After high school, he received a degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas, and a masters degree in counseling from Texas A&M Kingsville. Mr. Kappmeyer then returned to Harlandale ISD, teaching at Rayburn Elementary for ten years before moving to HMS four years ago.

Mrs. Sanchez is a graduate of McCollum High School.She has been in HISD for most of her life. After high school,she earned her Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and taught 5th grade at Carroll Bell Elementary for six years. From there,she went on to earn her master's in guidance&counseling from Texas A&M,Kingsville before coming to Harlandale Middle School as a counselor. She has been here since 2002,. Mrs. Sanchez has had a wonderful experience here at Harlandale Middle School. On her free time she loves to travel, shop, bake, and read!
