Ms. Kathy Pena
Principal

Mrs. Pena brings to HMS a tireless work spirit and a desire to continue the unequalled status of this campus. Mrs Pena has been in the education field 16 years and has spent 9 of those years in an administrative capacity .

Originally a graduate of University of Wisconsin with a BS in Spanish, Secondary Education, and English as a Second Language, she continued her graduate education at Texas A&M.

Mrs.Pena taught various subjects at the middle school level, and was an academic coordinator at a middle school before spending 5 years as a high school administrator. She joined the HMS staff as Principal during the 2005-2006 school year. She enjoys working with the staff and students to keep that Brave Spirit growing.
